Tutoring is an important way for me to convey to others my knowledge on various subjects, such as languages and social sciences. It also allows me to learn more about how i can improve myself to help others. First, it pushes me to perform at my best academic abilities, which includes a strong focus on conversation and grammar in foreign languages. Second, it encourages me to figure out how to best explain questions in a more simple fashion to the students I am tutoring. Lastly, it teaches me to be patient and slowly work alongside the students to help them grasp the subject matter at their own convenience and ability. Over the past six years I have tutored numerous college students primarily in German, as well as some in French. Thus, with my experience I hope to be of valuable service to you and/or your children as well.
