Native Spanish Speaker. Able to teach, translate, read and write Spanish. I want to be a tutor because I want students to have access to someone that is reliable and professional in Spanish language and culture. I was born in Mexico but have been in the USA for about half of my life. I attended elementary, middle-school, high-school, and college here. It was not until attending college that I decided I wanted to focus on continuing to learn my native language and since then I have been passionately interested in learning more about it and also sharing it with others. Because Spanish was my major I was able to take classes with different emphasis on Spanish. Some classes were based on the History of Latin American countries-culture, historical events, literature and arts. Other classes were focused solely on literature and others focused on the language itself. Therefore I know about the cultures that speak Spanish and also about the language itself (verbs, tenses, structure, etc.) I have also written works for some of the newspapers in Madison, Wisconsin that have been published in Spanish newspapers.
