Graduated valedictorian from Kimberly High School. Took and passed 12 AP tests: 5's AP Biology, Physics B, Physics C: Mechanics, Calculus AB, Calculus BC, Statistics, and Psychology; 4's on AP European History, Human Geography, and Physics C: Electro; 3's on AP both English Language and AP English Literature. Sophomore currently pursuing degrees in Nuclear Engineering, Physics, and Applied Mathematics. 4.0 GPA after my freshman year having taken Math 234 and 319, Eng 160, Physics 205, EMA 201, History 347, Chemistry 103 and 104, and Communication Arts 100.
Experience
Took and passed 12 AP tests: 5's AP Biology, Physics B, Physics C: Mechanics, Calculus AB, Calculus BC, Statistics, and Psychology; 4's on AP European History, Human Geography, and Physics C: Electro; 3's on AP both English Language and AP English Literature. I have experience tutoring while in high school and tutoring peers on my floor during my freshman year of college. All of the people I have tutored have done well and seem to understand the material not only just able to get the correct answer. I want to become a tutor because I like helping others and teaching. I enjoy using the abilities I am fortunate enough to have to help others learn and realize their own talents. I have personal experience struggling in a subject because I have a mild learning disability in reading which I have learned to both work with and use to my advantage. My rates are 12 dollars per hour for one on one tutoring, 7.50 dollars per person per hour for two person groups, and 6 per person per hour for groups of three. I understand that you (we) are in college and money is tight so prices are negotiable to a point. Payments are due the first session of the following week and I do not tutor more than three hours a night.
