Experience
Professor of Physics at Edgewood College from 1991 - 2013. Retired in May 2013. From 1983 to 1991, I worked as a postdoctoral research scientist at such prestigious institutions as UCLA, University of Wisconsin - Madison, Institute for Plasma Research - India, and Clarkson University. In 1991, I joined Edgewood College in Madison, Wisconsin to initiate and develop a physics program and to coordinate a newly instituted pre-engineering program. From then on until my retirement in 2013, I established a state of the art physics program, designed and implemented a core physics curriculum centered on activity-based learning, developed several new upper level courses leading to a physics minor, directed undergraduate research, and completed work on a student guide, "Learning Introductory Physics: A Guide for All Students," which is now published as an eBook. I have developed a website: http://PhysicsNow321.com for learning physics.
