Experience
I was a reading and writing tutor for two years during college with America Reads, Tutoring children from Kindergarten to 5th grade. I really enjoyed working with a child individually and seeing their improvements week in and week out. Throughout high school and college, I excelled at a wide variety of topics so I am comfortable tutoring many different subjects, especially since many studying and test taking strategies are shared across subjects. I received a 5 on every AP test I took, and a 1440 on my SAT (1600 scale). I am also TEFL (Teach English in a Foreign Language) Certified so I am comfortable teaching students who are ESL.
