I've had over 3 years of ESL tutoring experience both online and in-person. Most of the learners that I've had were from Asia (mostly Korea) and I helped them to learn the English language through conversation and through English-learning activities which proved to be successful. I tutor in ESL because that's what I enjoy doing the most in life. I know the English language is complex, but I tutor it in a way that it's fun and easier to learn. Over the past few years, I've donated my time helping others learn English at the Portage County Literacy Council (Stevens Point), assisted an ESL instructor at the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point, and am currently an independent tutor living in Madison. I provide tutoring in the following areas: -conversational and written English -preparation for TOEFl exam -preparation for interviews conducted in English
