I am a broadly trained biologist with a specialty in neurobiology. I have spent the last eight years as neurobiology researcher at the University of Arizona. I have taught five courses at the undergraduate level focused in the areas of neurobiology, cellular and molecular biology, and psychology. I have taught in large lecture halls, small groups and one and one. I also have experience working with students K-12. Teaching is one of the most rewarding aspects of being a scientist, and I take great pride in working with students and showing them how exciting biology can be. I am also a strong writer, and can help with scientific, or general writing.
