Experience

I have studied in US for 7 years; I am from Korea. That said, I am fluent in both English and Korean. I have tutored biology at both high school level (10 students) and college level (7 students) since I was in high school. I have received 5 in AP biology and 750 in SAT biology subject. I was also in the semi-final list for USA Biology Olympiad (top 10% in the nation.) when I was in high school. I have also TA-ed in intermediate microbiology lab (microbiology 304) and exploring biology course (biology 100) at UW-Madison. I am very passionate about teaching biology - it's my calling and very experienced with teaching biology in general. To further delve my expertise, I also work as an undergraduate research assistant in the X-ray crystallography lab. I am also expanding my tutoring expertise in Korean as well. I have previously worked as a teaching assistant in Korean school and have taught two students for private tutoring. Basically, I can tutor the following subjects: College-level Introductory Biology (Zoo 101/151/152), Introductory Microbiology (Micro 101/303),High school: Honors, AP, and IB Biology, SAT Subject: Biology, High school chemistry, Korean, Geometry/Algebra. Note that I do not charge for the first session. GROUP DISCOUNT*** If you have one additional person for the group, you will get $5 off. (i.e. For 2 people, I charge 15 dollars for each person. For 3 people, I charge 10 dollars.)
