Hello, my name is Rick Resch. I'm a tutor and I know Study Tech from Scientology. I've been to three colleges and majored in four majors and I still don't have a degree. I've been to Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design(MIAD), majoring in Industrial Design and had to withdraw after three weeks because of financial reasons. The second college I was to was UW-Milwaukee taking up Product Design. After going there two and an half years part-time, they cancelled the major on me. I then went to Milwaukee Area Technical College(MATC) for Mechanical Design. I withdrew from there because I flunked a Statics class and was having problems with the Strength of Materials and Descriptive Geometry classes. I learned that I have a learning disability. I later tried to take the Visual Communications major, but withdrew from that also because I couldn't learn HTML(HyperText Markup Language), a computer language, even with help from a tutor. I know the three Barriers to Study and how to overcome the subjects that are hard for a student to grasp. I don't believe in drugs like Ritalin and Adderall to solve ADHD(Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) and ADD(Attention Deficit Disorder). The symptoms that a student exhibits are not from a chemical imbalance. That is the effect, not the cause. The primary reason is because there is a misunderstanding of the subject. I know I can help you and make learning fun and easy, not hard. I thank you for listening to me and I look forward in serving you.
Experience
I do not have previous tutoring experience, but I do have knowledge and experience with Study Tech from Scientology. I am a tutor because I want to improve people's lives and help them with their difficulties in studying subjects such as Math and Science. I've read the Basic Study Manual and am in the middle of doing the Key to Life(KTL) at the Chicago Church of Scientology.

Hobbies
I used to have interests primarily in drawing and ceramics because I wanted to be an Industrial Designer when I came out of college and work for GM(General Motors),designing automobiles or ILM(Industrial Light & Magic), working with George Lucas on Star Wars, the movies. Presently my interests are in business: in marketing, sales and networking. I read books and magazines on business and follow people on Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+, and YouTube that pertain to business. My main interest is in the education business because I feel it is broken and needs to be fixed and improved. I've read the book,"The One World Schoolhouse:Education Reimagined" by Salman Khan from the Khan Academy on YouTube and I agree with a lot of what he says. If you haven't read the book, I highly recommend it. There is school-education and then there is self-education. "Formal education will make you a living; self-education will make you a fortune."-Jim Rohn There is three types of education that I learned from Robert Kiyosaki from the "RichDad PoorDad" book series: 1)Academic or Scholastic 2)Professional 3)Financial Learning doesn't stop after school, but continues for the rest of your life.
