Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. My research focuses on the barriers and challenges students face in STEM. My BS and MS are in Chemistry. Previously, I was a teacher at Eastern Guilford & John F. Kennedy High Schools (Chemistry, Physical Science, and Earth & Environmental Science) teacher. Hobbies
In my free time, I like to attend festivals, concerts, and comedy shows. I really love to go to R&B and Hip-Hop Concerts. When I can get away from school, I like to travel. I have been to almost all 50 states. I have been to Argentina, Mexico, Guatemala, Chile, and Uruguay. I am also very involved in community service and attend Tae Bo classes weekly.
