I'm currently enrolled at the University of Wisconsin - Madison and am pursuing a bachelor's degree in biochemistry. I've always been a strong student with good study habits and organizational skills, which is why I graduated from high school with a perfect GPA and scored highly on my ACT. With that said, I also understand that succeeding in the classroom is a skill in its own right that requires more than just studying coursework. For this reason, I decided to work as a tutor so that I can assist struggling students with developing the same study skills that helped me succeed in the classroom. I love teaching and learning and find it to be incredibly rewarding to empower students by sharing my own knowledge and experiences with them. Along with test prep, I also like to tutor physics, chemistry, and biology. I enjoy tutoring in a one-on-one setting because it lets me get to know the student so that I can come up with custom-tailored material with their strengths and weaknesses in mind. My goal is to motivate students to become confident and motivated to achieve greater things. When I'm not studying, I like to spend my time watching movies, listening to music, and playing basketball.
