All students are bright young scholars in their own way, and everyone needs a little help sometimes! I am passionate about building connections between classroom content and students' personal interests and experiences. I have served as an undergraduate teaching assistant for courses in Ancient Egyptian Hieroglyphics and Museum Education, and as a graduate teaching assistant for introductory anthropology and museum studies courses. I have also tutored undergraduate students in introductory archaeology and ancient Egyptian history. I enjoy teaching and tutoring because I genuinely love learning, and I want to help students uncover their own unique passion for discovery.

I love cooking, crafting, exploring the great outdoors, visiting museums, and watching the Great British Bakeoff. I'm also an epee fencer--and can tutor in that too! History, languages, and culture are my passions. I've done an archaeological dig in the Caribbean, handled ancient treasures in the vaults of the British Museum, explored Stone Age tombs in the English countryside, and hiked up to Colorado ghost towns--and I'm always on the lookout for my next adventure!
