Hi! I'm Jared. I'm a web developer by day and a tutor by night. I have always loved math and I love helping people learn it, understand it, and apply it to life outside the classroom. I attended the University of Notre Dame and graduated in 2013 with a major in Mathematics. After graduation, I became a web developer, and I use math constantly in my job. I tutor in my free time because I am genuinely excited about mathematics and want to show people how awesome it is! I specialize in high school and college-level math courses - Algebra I and II, Geometry, Precalculus, Calculus, Probability, Statistics, Linear Algebra, etc. I have over 2 years of experience tutoring and have tutored both online and in-person. I love tutoring and teaching and I look forward to working with you to help you achieve your goals, whether that be preparing for a test, completing homework, raising your grade, or developing a better and more thorough understanding of the material. I am friendly, patient, fun, and easy to get along with. I am encouraging yet challenging. I'm able to boil down difficult and abstract concepts (which are prevalent in mathematics) and skip the jargon to focus on the essential ideas. My primary goal in tutoring is to teach students how to learn for themselves. I look forward to helping you in your journey toward math supremacy!
