Experience
I have tutored students in a variety of subjects since I was in elementary school. Also, I have been substitute teaching for over a year and was a home-school facilitator as well. I love tutoring because as soon as I get to know the student, I quickly can discover their learning style, interests, and academic abilities. It is my goal to help them become as successful as possible, but I always make the learning experience positive and enjoyable. Each summer I am a bible school leader and teacher in my hometown. I also was a camp counselor since 2008 for the University of IL Ext. in which I led sports & fitness, 4-H, robotics, the Amazing Race, wilderness, golf, tennis, and cooking camps for K-8 students. I have attended several teacher workshops, was an assistant high school track coach, and used to host "Fun Days" for local children. Honors I have been awarded include Summa Cum Laude, President's List, Presidential Scholarship, and Phi Theta Kappa.

I am a very positive and enthusiastic person. I am always professional as well. In my free time, I enjoy going snowboarding, fishing, camping, and going to concerts. I always have a smile on my face and do my best to keep my students excited about learning!
